Chatbot - Connect an FAQ
What is an FAQ connection?
A FAQ connection allows users to browse and search all the FAQs directly from the chatbot.
Users/viewers can easily access the FAQ collection with just a click on See FAQ
from the chatbot.
How to connect an FAQ
Before proceeding with the FAQ connection with the chatbot, ensure that you already have FAQs as the knowledge base.
- Select the chatbot with which you want to connect FAQs.
- Click and open the desired chatbot. On the configuration page, go to the
Connections
tab. - Now, on the connection, click on
Add FAQs.
- Select the FAQ and click on
Add Connection
.
- Once you have added the connection, you can see the FAQ section on the chatbot.
Arrange the FAQ categories
Creating categories for your FAQs will make it easier for users to find the right questions. Users can easily navigate through the categories and FAQs listed under them.
- Open the FAQ collection you want to add categories.
- When you add a new Question & Answers to your FAQ collection, you see an option as
Category
on the left side of the page.
- You can select the desired category from the dropdown or create a new one by typing the new category's name.
- You are adding Q&A and categorizing them.
- To arrange the FAQ category on the chatbot. Open the chatbot configuration page.
- Go to the
Connections
tab to see the newly created categories under that.
- You can click the categories and arrange them by dragging them.
